Evening Prayer and Meditation for the Whole Family
Grace is kicking off a new family ministry geared toward building strong family ties, nurturing faith in children and parents/guardians/adults, and strengthening fellowship within the Grace community. Families, couples, and individuals are invited to come together for an evening (PM) of prayer and meditation on God’s Word (PM). PMPM will incorporate music (led by Kyle Heise!), devotions, active learning, and focused adult conversations on living as a Christ-follower—and bringing up children—in a society that offers many distractions to the faith and proclaims a variety of false messages.
PMPM will meet every-other-Wednesday outdoors at Grace. Participants are asked to bring their own seating for the evening.
PMPM will begin with some social time starting at 5:30 p.m. Dinner, singing, discussion, etc. will start at 6:00 p.m. Everything will be finished by 7:30 p.m.
PMPM Dinner: Participants can choose to bring their own food or participate in a group order from a nearby restaurant. Please contact Sarah regarding “food/price options” and with any general questions about the PMPM dinner. Participants should also bring their own beverages.
The PMPM study/discussion for adults will utilize the book Seculosity: How Career, Parenting, Technology, Food, Politics, and Romance Became Our New Religion and What to Do about It by David Zahl. It is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or a few copies will be available to purchase at PMPM.
This year's last PMPM meeting will be on November 18th.
If you have any questions regarding PMPM, please reach out to Sarah & Ryan Weber or Kyle Heise.
