First Annual Ministry Celebration Event SUNDAY, July 16th at 5:00 p.m.
What is the Ministry Celebration Event about? It’s a time when we will come together to give thanks to God for, and celebrate, his recent blessings to Grace. We will do this by gathering together for a “Hamburger and Hot Dog Bar” (think: a cookout with all the fixins!), a brief (very brief!) service of thanksgiving, a time to enjoy one another’s company in the great summer outdoors—and round out the event with the Mid-Year Voters Meeting starting at 7:00 p.m.. Hamburgers, hot dogs, all the fixins, beverages, table service, and music will be provided! If you’re coming (and we hope you do!), we’re asking you to sign-up on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in Information Hall and bring a side or dessert to share.

Pantry Showers for New Called Workers
Grace will collect non-perishable household goods (cleaning supplies, paper goods, canned and boxed foods, etc.) as a means of welcoming our new called workers.  If you wish to give a gift card to a local retailer or grocery store instead of actual "goods," you are welcome to do that.  Items will be collected in the Fellowship Room through Monday, July 24.
--Please place items for Kyle Heise, our new worship & youth minister, on the section of the table marked “Welcome Kyle Heise.”
--Please place items for Katelyn Vollmer, our new 3rd & 4th grade teacher, on the section of the table marked “Welcome Katelyn Vollmer.”

God's Word for God's People Bible Study
God's Word for God's People is an adult Bible study which meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.  We study God’s revealed word, because in Christ, “you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory” (Ephesians 1:13-14).  Please join us!

Sandwiches for the Homeless
Please join us in making sandwiches for the homeless at 10:00 a.m. on the last Saturday of odd numbered months (May, July, September...). The next event is Saturday, July29.
What is Sandwiches for the Homeless?  It is a service opportunity for all ages.  During the course of about an hour and a half, bread and bologna are transformed into 1500-1700 sandwiches.  Sandwiches are bagged, boxed, and delivered to Martha’s Table in Washington, DC, where they are then distributed to those who need them. Make the time to come help! This is a great way for everyone in the family to help those in our community who are less fortunate.  See you there!
