Dear Grace Family,

Good afternoon! I hope this message finds all of you well and enjoying this Labor Day holiday weekend!

Tomorrow, Grace will offer in-person worship at 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 12:30 p.m.

Holy Communion will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. worship.

Next Sunday, September 12, is RALLY DAY!!! Rally Day is a decades-long tradition at Grace! Unfortunately, Rally Day had to take a pause in 2020 on account of COVID, but Rally Day is back!

If you've never attended Rally Day, you might be wondering, "What is Rally Day?" Rally Day is a time for us rally around our Savior Jesus and rally around one another! We'll do this through special Rally Day-themed worship at 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. And, we'll have a special Rally Day Service under a tent on Grace's back lawn at 11:15 a.m. That service will be bilingual (English, Spanish) and also offer the voices of the students of Grace Christian Academy! Following the special service, there will be a catered meal and a moon bounce for kids!

There's nothing you need to do to sign up for Rally Day, simply come to one of the special services and enjoy time with your fellows brothers and sisters in the faith...rallying around Jesus and rallying around one another!

Next Saturday, September 11, is Truck & Toss!!! Truck & Toss is a food truck festival with craft beer tasting, a craft market, children’s activities, and a corn hole tournament. All proceeds from Truck & Toss benefit Grace Christian Academy.

Truck & Toss gives us a great opportunity to fulfill our mission “to reach out with loving Christian witness to all with whom we come into contact, especially those residing in the immediate neighborhood of our church.”  To that end, we are looking for volunteers to staff short shifts during the event for things like checking guests in, serving beverages, selling raffle tickets, set up, and clean up. If you’d like to help or want to learn more, please contact Julie Crain: jcrain@graceva.org | o703-534-5517 | c703-909-2070.  We are also looking for a few crafters to fill up our craft market, as well as a potential volunteer to staff a Thai Village table.

And don’t forget to buy your tickets! Use promo code “gracefamily” to get 25% off regular or VIP admission at www.truckandtoss.com.

Please feel free to make use of Grace's pastoral care (private Communion, counseling, etc.). Pastor Satorius and I are more than willing to help you however we may be able to.
